This set is well suited for the homeowner who wants to build a tower over 20' and is okay with a heavier frame. The benefit to using this set over using the 5' X 5' set is cost. A 20' tower can be built with three sets of 6'4" tall vs four sets of 5' tall, saving around $100 in material cost. The disadvantage to using this frame is the weight. This product is designed in Eastern NC, and by beefing up the metal in just the right places we believe we offer the best value in aluminum scaffold plank in the country. This plank is tested to over 9,000 lb. in an independent third party load test. That's over 212 lb. per square foot with a 4-1 OSHA safety factor. To be safe the label reads 75 lb. per square foot.

These planks feature zinc-plated bolts with nylon backing nuts rather than rivets, and have wind latches on both ends for safety..

What is an outrigger? It's a triangular bracket that clamps to the bottom of a scaffold tower or system to increase the base width, in order to increase the stability of the tower. Two very nice built-in clamps allow you to clamp the scaffold outrigger to the base tube of the scaffold, and the end has a tube that will accept either a level jack, socket leveler, or caster wheel. Very high quality in powder coated yellow. RADIAN also stocks a huge “Jumbo” outrigger for those that want to upgrade to the largest and very best.

The duty rating has been dramatically upgraded by increasing the diagonal tube to the same size as a scaffold frame vertical. 1.625 in/42mm x .090 in/23 mm. We have also added another mid bar. Use this to increase the safety of your tower when increasing the height needed. Or use this when you want to increase the stability of your lower tower. This outrigger increases the base width by a whopping 5 full ft.

Use our bar to stabilize the bottom of a rolling tower. Fits diagonally from one side to the directly opposite or diagonal side. Bar fits around the vertical scaffold frame tube and a slider bar slides towards the end locking the bar to the scaffold frame. Slider bolt can further be tightened locking the bar in place. Slider and hardware are galvanized and bar is powder coated hi-visibility yellow.

Our caster jack is a solid-steel 22" threaded rod welded to a female receiver that accepts either our scaffolding caster wheels or base plates. Allows for individual adjustment of each leg in conjunction with a scaffolding caster wheel allowing your scaffold to roll on uneven surfaces. Our swivel jack is a solid-steel 24" threaded rod welded to base plate accept the T on the end of the threaded rod, allowing base plate to swivel. This allows for individual adjustment of each leg and on surfaces with too high a degree of incline for a level jack.

Our hoist arm assembly attaches to the top of a frame by sliding down over a stack pin and a lower brace assembly fitting snuggly up with a horseshoe pin assembly. The assembly attaches down below the stack pin area and adds support at 2 different load points. Simply pin or clip the bottom and unit is ready to use. Unit includes safety rail studs to attach safety rails. Mid section of arm assembly has angle iron brace reinforcement. 360 degree pivot of top swing arm. Max capacity 100 lbs.

This unit is for material use only. Never lift personnel with it. Cordon off below when unit is in use to prevent injury to personnel or death. Pulley has a rope guide to prevent rope from coming off groove in wheel. Pulley is cast iron and swivel hook has safety lock to keep wheel attached to swing arm. Throw of the arm is approximately 19 inches. Diameter of the pulley wheel is 13 inches. Hoist Arm Assembly is not compatible with the deluxe rail package. Please remember that installing a Hoist Arm/Pulley Assembly can alter the center of gravity or your scaffold or tower.To avoid a topple condition we highly recommend that you always install tie bars when using a Hoist Assembly.

Our stacking pin measures 1.37" outer diameter on either end and 9" long. Each end has a hole for pinning to the frame both on the top and the bottom. The scaffold pin has a 1" collar in the middle, and the collar is brad installed. The ends are tapered for an easy fit, and these stackpins are galvanized for longevity.
